When land that has been disturbed is exposed to rainfall or snow melt, there is a potential for water resources to become polluted.  Whether the site is being prepped for constructing a structure are simply cleared for replanting, pollutants need to be controlled to protect our streams and rivers.   Sediment from exposed soil, fluids from leaking vehicles and equipment, or solid waste stored on site all need to be contained on site.
