Pet Waste
Your pet “goes” on the grass. Their waste is full of harmful pathogens. Left on the ground it can affect human and aquatic life. rainfall and snow melt can carry these pathogens into streams directly, or through a storm drain system made up of drains, culverts and ditches. Either way it can affect aquatic life and people. Given the number of dogs alone in our county, establishing good habits of proper disposal will not only protect yourself, but also protect others.
